Book reviews are critical evaluations of books, usually appearing in newspapers, magazines and academic journals soon after a book is published. Some reviews aren't much more than a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" for a book. Other, more critical reviews, provide insights into the meaning, context, and merits of the books they review.
To find book reviews, it helps to have the title, author, and date of publication before you start searching! If you're not sure of them, start with Amazon or WorldCat: the World's Largest Library Catalog.
